ITANAGAR, Mar 24: Governor Brig. (Dr.) BD Mishra (Retd.) laid a wreath at the Assam Rifles War Memorial, located in the Assam Rifles Headquarters, Laitkor, Shillong today. The Governor, who is on a two-day visit to Assam Rifles Headquarters paid homage to the Brave Hearts who laid down their life in the line duty in its 186 years of its marvellous history.
The Governor on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh conveyed good wishes to the officers, all ranks and their families of the Assam Rifles.
Earlier, the Governor reviewed a Guard of Honour presented by the Assam Rifles personnel.
