ITANAGAR, Jan 31: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) has extended warm greetings to the Idu Mishmi community in particular on the auspicious occasion of Reh. He expressed hope that the festivity will usher in happiness, peace, bumper harvest, and prosperity for all.
In his message, the Governor said that the Reh Festival showcases the cultural wealth of the Idu Mishmi community. I am sure every member of the community would actively participate in this festival and display the cohesive bonding of the fold, he said.
The Governor also appealed to the people to strictly comply with the COVID-19 protocol and COVID appropriate behaviour to remain safe from the pandemic.
