ITANAGAR, Jan 29: Governor Brig. (Dr.) BD Mishra (Retd.) today felicitated the 3rd Battalion of Naga Regiment here at the Raj Bhavan for its distinguished services in the border areas of Arunachal Pradesh. Governor presented a Silver Salver to Col Bimlesh Kumar, SM, VSM, Commanding Officer of the Battalion. While appreciating its operational performance he observed that the civil-military relationship maintained by the Battalion with the state’s people is commendable. Acknowledging that the Battalion has lived up to its reputation and met the expectations of the state’s people, the Governor requested the Commanding Officer to convey his best wishes to all the ranks of the Battalion. Commissioner to Governor Dr. Sagar Preet Hooda was also present on the occasion.
