ITANAGAR, Oct 30: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) has extended his greetings to the citizens of the State on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) which commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. In his message, the Governor while recalling the role of Sardar Patel for an unified India said that the celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is an occasion to motivate the youths towards the ideals that are the foundational concepts of national solidarity. “On this occasion, let us spread Sardar Patel’s vision of national unity among our fellow countrymen,” his message read.
