Itanagar, Nov 4: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.), has extended warm greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
In his message, the Governor said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, is revered across the world for his timeless teachings of spirituality, justice, and compassion. His messages of love, unity, and equality continue to illuminate human hearts and guide society towards harmony and righteousness.
The Governor said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s philosophy, enshrined in the Guru Granth Sahib, inspires everyone to live with purity of mind, honesty in work, and selfless service to humanity. His core principles, Naam Japna (remembrance of the Divine), Kirat Karni (honest living), and Vand Chakna (sharing and serving selflessly), remain eternal beacons for a life of virtue and moral strength.
May this sacred occasion inspire all of us to follow the noble ideals of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and to build a society rooted in peace, equality, and brotherhood, the Governor wished in his message.
