ITANAGAR, Sep 27: Chief Minister Pema Khandu today called on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) here at Raj Bhavan and discussed about the overall development plans of the state.
Discussions revolved around issues such as road conditions in different parts of the state due to torrential rains, particularly the Itanagar-Naharlagun stretch and infrastructural aspects of the health and education sectors. It was decided to increase overall efforts and completion of necessary documentation for streamlining the financial issues especially payment of salaries to government employees. Governor appreciated the Chief Minister and his team for organising the 1st State Level Heads of School Conference, which he said was very innovative and a far-sighted step.
The duo also discussed about programmes to be arranged for observing the 150th Gandhi Jayanti celebrations in a befitting manner. PRO Raj Bhavan
