ITANAGAR, Jul 4: Chief Minister Pema Khandu has extended warm greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh particularly to the Apatani community on the joyous occasion of Dree festival. 

In his message Khandu conveyed his deep sense of appreciation to the community for safeguarding and promoting the rich Apatani culture and tradition and passing it to the younger generation. He believed that the auspicious Dree would bring with it communal harmony, peace, serenity and prosperity in the state besides spreading brotherhood in society. 

“Ours is a distinct state with several tribes and communities residing side by side for ages and maintaining their own unique indigenous culture and traditions. Despite our varied diversity, we as Arunachalees are united and take pride in our indigenous cultural heritage. This cultural mosaic has to be maintained, preserved and propagated at all costs while keeping intact our unity in diversity” CM added in his message. 

The Governor of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh, PB Acharya has extended his best wishes and heartiest festival greetings to each and every citizen of the State on the auspicious occasion of Dree. He wished that the warmth and splendour, which is part of the auspicious occasion, usher in happiness and prosperity in the coming year.
