The Governor emphasized that the technologies, when adopted, must facilitate the State Government in analyzing existing systems, strengthening their efficiency, and finding innovative solutions to its pressing challenges. He asked the representatives to share their sector-specific requirements and the need for GIS (Geographic Information System) technologies to enhance efficiency with the State Government, so that these could be reviewed according to local needs and realities.
A strong advocate of technology-driven governance, the Governor remarked that geo-smart technologies can enhance governance, enable analysis, and remotely monitor the progress of planned projects. He said that the integration of technology into governance holds the promise of transforming service delivery and enhancing the quality of life for people across the State.
The Chief Minister, along with the State Chief Secretary, Manish Gupta, and other senior state government officials, actively participated in the meeting. They shared their perspectives, offered valuable insights, and highlighted key issues and priorities concerning the State.
