ITANAGAR, Oct 3: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) today chaired a high-level meeting here at Raj Bhavan to discuss matters relating to the infrastructure and manpower issues of Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS).
The meeting comes as a follow-up of his visit to the institute on October 1 last and was attended by Commissioner, Secretary Land Management Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma, Secretary Administrative Reforms, SK Jain, Juhi Mukherjee, IAS and Director TRIHMS, Dr. Moji Jini. Governor shared his observations with the Commissioner Health and advised him to initiate necessary action to utilize the equipment and other facilities and said that TRIHMS being a new institution, all-out efforts must be made to make it functional and patient-friendly. Make best use of provisions already in hand, he stressed. While emphasising on starting the Blood Bank and Intensive Care Units (ICU) at the earliest, he also advised on expediting the process of addressing manpower shortage issue, particularly the nursing staff.
Governor further exhorted the concerned officers to fast-track the progress of working and also suggested to display placards inside the premises for the benefit of patients. PRO Raj Bhavan
