ITANAGAR, Dec 3: Chief Minister Pema Khandu today called on Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) here at the Raj Bhavan to discuss issues relating to the state’s security, law and order, civil supplies, progress of construction of Miao-Vijoynagar road, PR and Municipal elections and ongoing developmental activities.
Voicing his concern about the law and order situation in the eastern part of the state, the Governor suggested the Chief Minister to give more thrust on developmental initiatives in the TCL region and check the nefarious activities there. Referring to his recent meeting with Gauhati High Court, Itanagar Permanent Bench, Naharlagun judge Justice Nani Tagia, the Governor advised the Chief Minister to look into the issue of duplicity in Regulations and the ambiguity created in administration of justice as a consequence. He also called for an all-out support from the state government to the APPSC for ensuring a fool-proof system for flawless conduct of the upcoming APPSCCE (Mains). Besides the above topics, the duo discussed the issue of continued availability of basic commodities in remote areas through air carriage and the innovative ways to counter the Covid-19 pandemic. 
Appreciating the Chief Minister for his cluster farming and nutritional kitchen garden initiatives, the Governor suggested promotion of botanical and herbal gardens in the state. PRO Raj Bhavan
