ITANAGAR, Jun 23: Chief Secretary Dharmendra, made a courtesy call on Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar today.
The Governor advised the Chief Secretary to closely monitor the development projects to ensure quality and timely implementation. He said benefits of state and central government schemes and programmes should reach the targeted people and also the last person in the queue.
The Governor shared his observations of development activities and education and health facilities in remote border areas. He asked the Chief Secretary to review the educational centres and public security on a regular basis.
The Governor advised the Chief Secretary to establish an effective, responsive and prompt communication, compliance and people friendly interaction system with all the twenty-six Deputy Commissioners of the State.
