ITANAGAR, Jun 27:Arunachal Pradesh Governor PB Acharya has called upon the Puroik community to move forward for development like other communities of the state.

Inaugurating the office of the Autonomous Puroik Welfare Board (APWB) at the secretariat hereMonday evening, the governor advised the community to go for skill training and entrepreneurship, a Raj Bhawan communique said.

 "Be proud of your identity if you want to keep your culture alive. Don’t let politics or religion interfere in one’s own activities," Acharya said.

APWB Chairman Satya Gopal briefed the objectives for establishment of the board.
