ITANAGAR, Oct 15: The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) BD Mishra (Retd.) has once again appealed to the people for a concerted effort in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. 
Taking forward the ‘Jan Andolan Campaign for COVID-19 appropriate behavior’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8th October, the Governor called for people's participation in adherence to COVID-19 safety and health protocols. He said that the campaign has been launched now in the view of the coming festivals of Durga Puja and Diwali and the winter season as well as the opening up of the economy. The main aim of this appeal is to ensure that the safety precaution information against COVID-19 reaches every citizen at the earliest, he said. 

The Governor urged upon the people to wear a mask over their nose and mouth, wash hands frequently, and follow social distancing by practicing ‘Do Gaj Ki Doori’. He also cautioned the people against spitting in the open. He advised them to use Arogya Setu App.
The Governor said that the State government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu is taking all steps to contain the spread of this deadly virus. He asked the people of the State not to take the threat of Corona Virus Disease lightly and observe all necessary precautions against it.
Together, we will win against COVID-19, the Governor said in his message to the people of Arunachal Pradesh. PRO Raj Bhavan
