ZIRO, Jun 27:Governor PB Acharya, who is on a 4-day tour of Lower Subansiri and Upper Subansiri districts met the NEEPCO officials at Ranganadi Hydro Electric Project site at Yazali today.
Interacting with the officials, the Governor emphasized on the need to implement Corporate Social Responsibility in letter and spirit so that the state and the people benefit from it.
Expressing concern on the issues related to the project and the local people, the Governor advised the affected people and the management of NEEPCO to amicably solve the issues through dialogue. He also enquired about the welfare of the employees.
Head of the plant, Arup Kumar Sharma briefed the Governor about the project.
