WAKRO, Dec 31: In a touching gesture Maj Gen Dheerendra Singh Kushwah, SM, the General Officer Commanding an infantry division of the Indian Army sent new year cakes and ration items for rural school children. The Apnes and girls of the Kasturba Gandhi Balika were overjoyed to receive the new year card from the GOC.  Speaking on the ocassion, Maj Ransher conveyed the best wishes on behalf of the GOC and the Indian Army and guided the children to make best use of the learning environment provided by the schools. He also assured that the Indian Army is always keen and ready to help in all ways possible for the peace, progress and prosperity of the people.
