PASIGHAT, Jul 3: By administering 1142 Covid-19 vaccine doses through seven outreach sessions during the ongoing Tika Maha Abhiyan that in percentage translate to a 101.48% saturation, the First Referral Unit, Ruksin in East Siang district has been adjudged as the ‘Best Performing Health Facility’ of the week following a recommendation from the Health Department.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kinny Singh commended the efforts and awarded the Letter of Appreciation to FRU Ruksin MO In-charge Dr. Kadum Jonnom and vaccination In-charge O. Sah in presence of DMO Dr. Kaling Dai. Meanwhile, giving a clarion call to the district’s people, the District Administration has announced to provide 10 kg rice to each individual who will take their first jab between July 5-10. The beneficiary will have to show his/her voter ID and Vaccination Certificate for the first dose at the counter of the Covid Vaccination Center.
Those not possessing the voter ID but residing in the district may produce a certificate from the concerned PRI member/ward councillor for availing the free rice facility, the DC informed. DIPRO
