PASIGHAT, Oct 3: Pasighat Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) organized “Freedom through Technology” under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) which was attended by the students of Daying Ering Memorial Higher Secondary School and members of Women Against Social Evils (WASE).
Various components and features of ICCC were explained and screened through powerpoint presentation and video clips. The attendees were also briefed on how it is helping the citizens of Pasighat with examples of previously captured events of crime in the presence of CEO of PSCDCL Wayong Khimhun, Joint CEO Kipa Gagung, host officers and officials of Pasighat Smart City Development Corporation Limited and Pasighat Municipal Council.
The District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) East Siang in collaboration with PSCDCL at the same venue organized Pan India Free Legal Aid Awareness and Outreach Programme under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority which was participated by the students of IGJ HS School, Pasighat and WASE mothers. Resource person Denzing Sonuwal, Retainer Advocate highlighted the role and functions of Legal Services Authority and spoke on protection of Child Against Sexual Offences-2012, Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Scheme-2011, Protection of Women from Domestic Violence-2005 etc. DIPRO
