TAWANG, Mar 27: Khadro Drowa Zangmu District Hospital, Tawang today conducted a free mega health camp under Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh (MMRKK) at Mogto PHC.
Specialist doctors like ophthalmologists, gynaecologists, orthopaedic surgeons, medicine specialists, paediatricians and dental surgeons provided free consultation services. Laboratory testing, enrolment under CMAAY, PMJAY were also provided during the camp. More than 200 patients availed the above free services along with refraction tests, free distribution of spectacles, ECG tests and Vector Borne Disease (VBD) screening. 20 families also enrolled under PMJAY and CMAAY. A similar free MMRKK health camp was organised in Khyed village last Saturday.
Duty Nodal Officer, MMRKK free health camp, KDS District Hospital Dr Thuten Tsering informed that these free health camps will continue every Saturday to cover poor villagers unable to avail DH facilities. DIPRO
