Ziro, Apr 26: A three day block level foundation cum functional training program for Gram Chairpersons and Gram members on Panchayati Raj System through SPICE model was inaugurated by Millo Kojin,ADC at Hari today.
PRI members of 14 - Hari and 15- Hari South Zilla constituencies will be availing the training, which is being imparted by SIRD and the  Panchayati Raj Department.
Addressing the PRI members, the ADC exhorted them to avail the opportunity to equip themselves with knowledge about the Panchayati Raj institution, its powers and functions and the immense role it has in bringing about development in the grassroot level. He further suggested the participants to adopt  conservation and cleanliness of water bodies in the valley.
Tamar Baki, Assistant Director cum Course director  de-briefed about the training. 
Topics like the 15th Finance Commission Grant, District Development Plan, powers and functions of District Planning Committee, social security schemes, sustainable development goals etc will be discussed during the three day training.
ZPMs Hage Dollo and Shri Tasso Tana also attended the inaugural program.
