PASIGHAT, Sep 15: The 2nd batch of the state level in-service foundation training course for horticulture field officials commenced here at the 2-Mile training camp on Tuesday.
ADC (Hq) Tatdo Borang said that horticulture is one of the most sustainable and important sectors in the state due to favourable climate and soil and urged the trainees to take inputs from the training sincerely for implementing the knowledge gained in their respective areas of work. DAO Ajit Pao advised the officials to be friendly with the growers and perform their on-field duties with sincerity.
HDO Oter Gao informed that twenty-five horticulture officials including Horticulture Field Assistants, Field Men and Grafters would be taking part in theoretical and practical classes in the camp and CHF besides field studies in and outside Pasighat. DIPRO
