ITANAGAR, Aug 3: The Peoples Forum of 12^th Pakke –Kessang Assembly constituency on Thursday has demanded the concern authorities to immediately declare the date of bye-election for the Assembly constituency.

In a meeting held today, the house after a threadbare discussion has also appealed to revoke the transfer and posting orders being issued earlier against the said Assembly constituencies.

Seeking the governor to intervene in the matter, the house also resolved to lodge an FIR against incumbent Deputy Commissioner, East Kameng for submitting a false report based on which the proposed election date has been extended.

 The house further unanimously decided to knock the door of Election Commission India, if the concern authority fails to re-notify the date of election within stipulated time
