OLD BUNTING, Jul 7: Former Joint Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Waphuang Tesia expired on Tuesday here in the state capital after a prolonged illness.
According to sources, late Tesia was undergoing dialysis due to kidney failure since the last couple of years. It is worthwhile to mention that late Tesia was the first government employee in the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly office from the undivided TCL districts and took voluntary retirement in 2013. Known to be a down-to-earth person, he always helped the people of Tirap district in official works.
He is survived by his wife, son, 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. His last rituals will be performed at his native village in Old Bunting. DIPRO
