PASIGHAT, Dec 15: Former Councillor-cum-East Siang District Congress Committee General Secretary Kangge Moyong today joined the BJP in the presence of his supporters and 38th Pasighat East MLA Kaling Moyong.
Joining the BJP ahead of PR polls, Kangge who won the Councillor's seat of Ward-12 of the PMC in the previous election on a BJP ticket said he left the party and joined the Congress but has returned back to his old party to be a part of development. While welcoming Kangge back to the party fold, Moyong said that under BJP, all-round development of the nation and state is going on which has resulted in unopposed victory in 97 ZPM and more than 5000 GPM seats in PR polls.
Meanwhile, Mandal President Osar Padun said he is confident to win 4 ZPM seats and 8 Councillor seats of the PMC under 38th Pasighat East AC.
