MECHUKHA, Mar 26: State Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona has deeply mourned the demise of Mudang Lasa, former Secretary APLA, who passed away Thursday night in Itanagar.
In his condolence message, the Speaker said, “It is a painful moment for the family and for those who were associated with him. He had served the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly in various capacities and in the later period of his career as Secretary of this prestigious institution with utmost dedication and success. His contribution to the Legislative Assembly shall always be remembered by one and all.”
Sona remembered late Lasa as a very simple, down to earth and honest person who was regarded highly by the officers and staff of the Legislative Assembly for his simplicity and amiable nature.
"I had a close bonding with him and always found his deep knowledge in official matters very helpful. I have many fond memories of him which shall always be cherished,” the Speaker said.
The Speaker prayed to the almighty God for the eternal peace of his departed soul and also to give enough strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
