ITANAGAR, Oct 20: Alleging lackadaisical attitude by the state government, All Arunachal Pradesh Forest Workers Union (AAPFWU) staged a peaceful dharna regarding their charter of demands near IG Park on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters, President AAPFWU Lingdum  Bagap informed that despite repeated pleas regarding the grievances of workers no positive development has been made yet. 
AAPFWU is demanding timely release of their meager salary within the second day of every month, to induct President General Secretary of AAPFWU in the DPC member, and list of Non-APST workers appointed since 2015.
The union may go for rigorous democratic movement if the authority fails to redress their issue within the stipulated timeframe, he added.
While participating in the dharna, Chairman - Joint Working Committee Arunachal Pradesh Trade Union (JWCAPTU) – Changma Tajo has appealed to the state government to immediately redress the issue of Forest workers.
