AALO, Jun 13: The West Siang administration has launched  food safety training and certification programme (FoSTaC) at Aalo. It aims to impart knowledge on food safety for consumers and shopkeepers have to undergo online training partnered by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
DMO Dr Dubom Bagra requested all the shopkeepers to attend the training programme and get the certificate. Shopkeepers will get the food certificate from the DMO office on production of food safety training. Regular checking of food certificate will be started as per the government's order, he said.
