PASIGHAT, Feb12: Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Pasighat today organized a webinar on Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) for the officials of its state units.
Director, ROB Itanagar Dr Keshavamurthy while informing that EBSB programmes are meant for promoting mutual understanding between the people of different states through state pairing and exchange of culture, languages, traditions, music, tourism etc., urged the FOB staff to help the people of the state in learning 100 sentences in Hindi  
as Uttar Pradesh is the paired state. The webinar’s Resource Person and Professor JN College, Pasighat Dr. Tamin Payum informed that Arunachal Pradesh has been clubbed with Uttar Pradesh and Meghalaya to promote EBSB. Although it is not easy to educate the state’s rural people about EBSB, platforms should be provided from time to time where traditional dances of Uttar Pradesh and Meghalaya could be performed by the local boys and girls for having a better understanding of the country’s cultural diversity, he added.
FOB officials from Itanagar, Bomdila, Tawang, Aalo and Tezu participated in the webinar.
