PASIGHAT, Oct 29: Draw of lottery for 33%  reservation of women seats in Zilla Parishad  and Gram Panchayats for East Siang district was conducted successfully  and in a transparent manner as per standard operating procedures under the chairmanship of  DC cum DEO (PR) Sonalika Jiwani and members  ADC (Hq), Pebika Lego, ADC Ruksin, Kiron Ninggo, and ADC Mebo Nancy Yirang here today.
Five ZPM seats—10 Mebo Banggo -I, 09- Bogong -II, 05- Oyan,  07- Bosing -II & Monggu Banggo -I, were declared as reserved for women for the ensuing State Panchayati Raj Elections 2025. 
Draw of lottery for  women reservations for Chairpersons Gram Panchayats and Gram Panchayat Member (GPM) Seats were also conducted. DIPRO
