Aalo, Sep 5: Five areas here in the township were declared as Containment Zones on Saturday by West Siang Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi after detection of five more Covid-19 positive cases.
The five areas are New Market Aalo, Puak Gumin, Sipu Puyi, Cozy Resort and Humgo Rigo Resort and with their declaration as Containment Zones all relevant SOPs have come into effect. The District Administration, medical team, police and volunteers deputed by the Aalo Town Development and Welfare Society are going through a tough time after the sudden spike of Covid-19 cases in the township over the past few days triggered by the DJ night party. All suspected persons involved in recent parties are being tested at Boys Government H.S. School and different teams are scattered over various places in contact tracing under the supervision of DSO Dr. Jombom Kato.
The colonies and market committees are giving full support in contact tracing. DIPRO
