BOMDILA, July 9: Chief Minister Pema Khandu, National President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Tejasvi Surya and Minister Sports & Youth Affairs Mama Natung attended the final day of the three-day training camp held at Upper Gompa near here on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters, Khandu while calling upon the party youths to become partners in the development of the state and country as a whole said that the three days training was for the party district youth leaders to inculcate party discipline and ideology.
Khandu said that such training camps are a regular process under the party and due to the Covid pandemic it was put on halt for almost two years. This is the first BJYM state-level training camp and will also be held in the future so that party workers are guided well for transforming the state through grassroots work.
The training also imparted knowledge on creating awareness on various programs under the central government and state government. Also, knowledge on the party visions and training to carry forward the idea of Pan Arunachal is being imparted to the party youth leaders.
BJYM National president Tejasvi Surya, who is also a Member of Parliament from Bengaluru said that it is a historical day for the party as the first BJYM training camp was held in the state.
He said that BJP is part of the people and not  owned by any individual or family. The party has been organizing such training on a regular basis in different parts of the country and finally, it landed in Arunachal Pradesh.
“Basically, the rise of the party in the country, its history, and the approach to make further growth in the state was discussed. Also, the development works under the BJP government were also imparted to the party workers,” he said, adding that he believes the BJYM will grow stronger in years to come and such training will reach every district.
Meanwhile, Natung inspired the party workers to achieve the party goals by reaching to the grassroots level. He also highlighted various programmes and projects initiated under CM Pema Khandu-led BJP government for the welfare and growth of youths of the state.
Earlier in the day, the leaders and others paid homage to former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe at GRL monastery near here.
