Roing, Feb 18: A workshop on Financial Planning cum IEC on Digital Transactions was organised for the people of Roing, with special focus on Project Affected Families who received compensation against the Dibang Multipurpose Project (DMP) undertaken by NHPC, at the Zilla Parishad Hall, Roing today. 
The programme initiated by the District Administration and coordinated by DPO and Lead District Manager saw the participation of financial advisers from SBI Life, SBI Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Life, UTI, HDFC, Post Office etc. Importance of financial planning, investment, savings, mutual fund and various types of Insurance was covered.
An interactive session was also held. The programme will be held again on Statehood Day at the General Ground, Roing for wider desemination of information related to financial matters.
