ITANAGAR, Mar 31:  Itanagar Municipal Council (IMC) has submitted the final proposal of Itanagar for Smart City to the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India today.

 Executive Engineer IMC cum Nodal Officer Smart City Itanagar, Er Tadar Tarang informed over phone from the national capital that the Ministry is pleased with Itanagar’s preparation in the race. ‘Unlike other cities, no errors and doubts in the proposal of Itanagar Smart City was found by the accepting authority— Under Secretary MoUD Govt of India, Sanjay Sharma,’ he added.

 Among others, Director Town Planning Amoy Morang, CMEO IMC, Habung Lampung and Deputy Chief Councillor IMC, Tarh Nachung also accompanied the Nodal Officer.

Meanwhile, Pasighat Municipal Council has also submitted their proposal for Smart City to the Ministry.
