SANGRAM, Oct 27: State Home, RD and IPR Minister Bamang Felix today inaugurated two RCC bridges in Nyobia and Sangram Circles in Kurung Kumey district.
Among the two bridges, the RCC bridge on Payin river measures 15 meter and the RCC double-lane over Panyiu river measures 45 meter along with the road from BRTF to Laying via SDO headquarters. The bridge over Payin will connect several villages in Nyobia Circle and will also give passage to the Parsi Parlo Circle in Koloriang assembly constituency, while the bridge over Panyiu will join the two Circles of Nyobia and Sangram and ease the movement of local people to a great extent.
“It was my commitment to the people of my constituency to give priority to connectivity and other infrastructure development that includes electricity, power, water supply, education and health. I am trying my best to bring improvement in these sectors, but need people’s cooperation in this regard,” Felix said while making the inaugurations. He reiterated that real development would be possible only with coordinated cooperation from all sections of society including government officers, public leaders and executing agencies.
Kurung Kumey DC Kento Riba, SP Minjum Ete, Nyapin ADC Otem Jamoh, Sangram SDO Tsering Pentsom Monpa, Nyoba CO Pemiya Mikro, EAC Dr. Dana Una, Phassang CO Afa Phassang and DIPRO Ringu Takap were among others present on the occasion.
