BORDURIA, Nov 4: Home Minister Bamang Felix today inaugurated the newly constructed Police Station at Borduria Circle Headquarters in Tirap District in presence of top officials including DGP RP Upadhyaya.
Felix in his address appreciated Borduria-Bogapani MLA Wanglin Lowangdong for creation of the Police Station at Borduria funded at Rs.150 Lakhs under SIDF.
Once upon a time, Tirap was one of the most peaceful districts, Felix said urging the people of Tirap to bring back its lost glory.
Host and MLA Wanglin Lowangdong in his speech said that it is a great achievement for the people of Borduria circle from security standpoint and in enhancing the potential, capability of security forces particularly the Arunachal Pradesh Police.
In his welcome address, Tirap Superintendent of Police, Kardak Riba 
said it is a great achievement and will immensely help the police department.
DGP R.P. Upadhyaya, informed that 10 new police stations will be inaugurated in the state this November and appreciated DIGP (TCL) and entire police personnel serving in TCL districts.
