ITANAGAR, Mar 8: A day-long state level meeting to review the current progress level of all Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) under Rural Development Department-cum-Basic MIS training was convened today here at the Dorjee Khandu auditorium of the State Legislative Assembly, chaired by Minister, Home, RD etc Bamang Felix.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the poor performance of a few districts in implementing the Central schemes, Felix called for revamping the workforce and proactive participation by all stakeholders to achieve the targets. Besides exhorting the officers and officials of the Rural Development department to remain particular regarding timely uploading of MIS data, the Home-cum-RD Minister directed to arrange more zone-wise technical trainings on CSS at Siang, Lohit, Subansiri, Tawang and Papum Pare. All Project Directors were also instructed to conduct monthly review meetings with the Block officials and submit reports accordingly. The Project Directors of the respective DRDAs attending the meeting submitted their performance reports through PowerPoint Presentations.
MLA Dambuk-cum-Adviser, RD & PR Gum Tayeng, Secretary (RD) Amamath Talwade, Director, RD Kego Jilen, Block Development Officers, APOs of DRDA, EO (REs) and officials of the RD Directorate attended the meeting.
