Roing, Feb 26: A day long farmers training programme on boosting immunity through vegetables and herbs was organised by Research Institute of World Ancient Tradition Culture and Heritage (RIWATCH), Khinjili and supported by Srewa International.
Director (RIWATCH) Vijay Swami explained about the necessity of vegetables farming.
ADO Kato Tayeng deliberated on seed propagation, nutritional importance of vegetables and sustainable agriculture farming practices like composting.
DMM(ArSLRM) Mongam Basar spoke about SHGs and the upcoming Vandhan Yojana Kendra Processing Facility, market linkage etc.

Naina Paleng, Project Co-ordinator Ashilo Pulu and RIWATCH Manager Talee Melo were present. Altogether 30 farmers attended the programme.
