AALO, Nov 3: Arunachal Kishan Morcha (AKM) President Dungoli Libang has said that the Agriculture Bills 2020 will serve the interest of farmers better and help in increasing their incomes.
The AKM President made this assertion while addressing a Kishan Jan Jagran Abhiyaan-Atma Nirbhar Bharat awareness programme organised for propagating awareness on the benefits of the said farm bills here on Tuesday. Launching a scathing attack on the opposition for protesting against the bills, Libang said the new bills will not affect the existing Mandi system and the farmers will be able to sell their crops directly to anyone at prices most-agreeable to them.
He also said the bills will strengthen the efforts in doubling the income of farmers. Among others, Arunachal BJKM General Secretary Gumsen Lollen and West Siang BJP President Yomto Jini were also present.
