MIAO, Jun 22: In a major strike against insurgent groups operating in TCL region, the Lekhapani battalion of the Indian Army apprehended operations commander of ENNG in Miao.
The joint operations in coordination with Arunachal Police was based on strong inputs which led to apprehension of Self Styled Lieutenant Maitang.  The  cadre joined the militant group  in December 2021 and had been training the outfit on handling of weapons, drills and explosives. During operation smartphone with various incriminating materials and videos, Aadhar card etc were recovered, stated a release.
