AALO, Jul 7:  A devastating fire in Kunuyami village under Kamba Circle of West Siang district at around 8 am today claimed one life, injured another and completely ravaged the dwelling and its livestock.
The house belonged to Gomo Bogo and his mother Tobom Bogo (70) was burnt to death while she was trying to pull out her ornament box from the fire. Pogo Bogo, the deceased’s husband sustained burnt injuries. The livestock stationed within the house were also engulfed by fire. 
Fire extinguishers from Aalo and 108 ambulance services from CHC Kamba were pressed into service.
The West Siang District Administration has extended immediate relief to the fire victims and a detailed assessment of losses is under progress. DIPRO
