ITANAGAR, Jul 21:

 

As part of rationalization of teachers, the Education Department on Friday issued transfers orders of 831 teachers including SSA for Capital Complex, Lower Subansiri, East Siang and West Siang Districts.

 

Another batch of 778 teachers will be transferred shortly for Namsai, Lower Dibang Valley, Changlang, Siang, West Kameng, Dibang Valley, Anjaw and Lohit districts in next phase, said an official release.

 

For districts like Tawang, East Kameng, Kurung Kumey, Kra-Dadi, Upper Subansiri, Upper Siang, Tirap and Longding, posting will be done after completion of second phase.

 

During the process, following districts were identified with excess of teachers-Capital Complex (362), Lower Subansiri (53), West Siang (128), East Siang (168) and Siang (62).

 

The excess teachers will be posted out of the districts where there is shortage of teachers
