RONO HILLS, Mar 17: A team from the state’s Education department led by Director, Mission Shiksha, GoAP Sachin Rana today visited Rajiv Gandhi University to discuss issues relating to framing of modalities for assessing the performance of teachers working in elementary and secondary schools of the state.
The round-table discussion was chaired by RGU Vice-Chancellor Professor Saket Kushwaha who emphasised on collaborative works between the varsity and government agencies and advocated for more consultancy-based collaborations in future. Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Amitava Mitra, Registrar Dr. N T Rikam, Controller of Examinations Dr. Bijay Raji, Joint Registrar Dr. David Pertin and In-charge of the University Library Professor P K Acharya shared their views.
Later, the Mission Shiksha Director visited the varsity’s Department of Education and conducted a threadbare discussion with its faculty members on the scope of achieving the objectives of the Mission.
