 PASIGHAT Apr 6:  In a formal flag off programme here this morning, a team of Zilla Parishad Members of East Siang which were in an inter-district national level exposure tour to other districts of Arunachal Pradesh was flagged off by local MLA Kaling Moyong, DC, Pasighat Tamiyo Tatak and SP, Pasighat Pranav Tayal.

 During the flag off, Moyong said that, the resource identification and revenue generation are the key factors for the strengthening of Panchayati Raj system. ZPMs are the key indicators of the rural governance and play vital role of the State Government to make the Panchayat as the vibrant local self-government

 While East Siang ZPC, Kaling Dai said that, during interaction with their counter parts, our members will gather more knowledge on preservation of flora and fauna, basic management skill of water supply, sanitation, health, education, road connectivity, rural employment and involvement of PRIs for the line departmental programme implementation, devolution of power with reference to fund, function and functionaries. 

The team will cover, Roing, Anini, Tezu, Namsai, Khonsa etc and then Tawang, Bomdila etc.
