PASIGHAT, Aug 7: A review meeting on prevailing Covid management was held today in the Siang Hall under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kinny Singh which was attended by JDHS (BPGH) Dr. D. Raina, DSO Dr. T. Talom, ADCs Pasighat and Mebo T. Borang and A. Koyu respectively and senior admin officers. 
After threadbare discussion, DC Singh gave one hour relaxation in night curfew timings and permitted to open all shops and commercial establishments upto 3pm on all days from Sunday (Aug-8) onwards. There shall be total ban on movement of individuals from 4pm to 5am daily.
Expressing her concern, Singh directed the health department to intensify testing and contact tracing and further asked to encourage and motivate people for vaccination. She sought coordinated efforts of the public representatives, municipal councillors, PRI leaders, welfare associations to persuade people to wear masks and get themselves vaccinated against Covid.
Magistrates and police were specifically directed in the meeting to focus on crowed areas like markets, shopping malls etc. DC Singh instructed the magistrates and police personnel to ensure that Covid Appropriate Behavior are implemented effectively in the entire district. DIPRO
