PASIGHAT, Jul 8: The East Siang administration sealed three places namely Upper Banskota (Ward-5), Lower Banskota (Ward-8) and Fire Brigade areas (Ward-4) after declaring as micro-containment zones following high Covid cases.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kinny Singh informed that the administration’s decision comes immediately after reporting of Covid-19 positive cases in the said areas and as per recommendation of the District Medical Officer. All residents of these areas were put under home quarantine and the health teams will collect samples of the primary and secondary contacts.
Sanitisation would be carryout by the PMC. DIPRO
