PASIGHAT, Aug 8: East Siang District Police continued its intensified Inner Line Permit (ILP) checking across all jurisdictions, with targeted operations currently underway under PS Pasighat, PS Sille-Oyan, PS Mebo, and PS Ruksin.
Specially deployed dedicated police teams are conducting surprise inspections at market places, labour camps, business establishments, and transit points to check ILPs helping in detecting individuals residing without valid ILP documentations. As per procedure, violators are being produced before concerned Executive Magistrates for necessary proceedings.
The district police has urged all citizens, contractors, and landlords to ensure that individuals under their employment or tenancy possess valid and up-to-date ILPs to avoid any inconvenience.
The authority has cautioned that any non -compliance will attract strict legal action in accordance with prevailing laws and state guidelines.
