SEPPA, Mar 10: East Kameng Police led by Superintendent of Police Rahul Gupta has launched cyber security awareness class at Seppa. Initially, school going children were imparted knowledge on ongoing cyber fraud, cyber bullying, cyber hacking, phishing, locking of social media account, reporting any problem in social media platform, retrieving URL of account etc.
One classroom equipped with projector and 50 chair seating capacity is run by Inspector N Nishant of Seppa Police through power point presentation. So far, 70 students of JNV School, VKV Seppa and KGV, Seppa have been invited and received the benefits of cyber awareness class.
The SP while applauding the curiosity of students shown in cyber class, also exhorted other denizens of Seppa town to attain the benefits through the ongoing sensitization drive.
Anyone can register his/her name and approach East Kameng Police to join the class which is organised free of cost on every Saturday.
