ITANAGAR, Sep 1: The All Kra Daadi District Students’ Union (AKDDSU) on Tuesday demanded immediate recruitment of forty-one (41) various posts particularly sanctioned for the district by the state government in the year 2016 which it said was lying vacant till date.
Addressing media persons in a press conference here at press club today, President AKDDSU Pakyum Talop said, “We appeal the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) for immediate publication of advertisement on the said forty-one posts within a time period of 15 days,’ he said while cautioning to launch series of democratic movements in failure to do so.
Condemning the APSSB for not conducting the interview for said posts, and for keeping the posts vacant for years, Talop said that the general public of the district will no longer tolerate such delaying tactics and irresponsible attitude of the Board.
While informing that the union had submitted a representation to the Chairman APSSB regarding the issue on August 31, he opined that “a notification was published vide no. AR-68/2018 Dated 19.08.2018 mentioning that the recruitment shall be conducted under the APSSB but they are yet to conduct the recruitment for the said posts.” Moreover, the advertisement for the said post was also published by the then Deputy Commissioner Kra Daadi  for two consecutive times but was deferred because of some emerging problems in the district.
APSSB is yet to recruit a total of 41 vacancies which includes; 9 UDC, 14 LDC, 11 Peon, 2 Chowkidar, 2 Dak Runner and 3 Sweeper, informed President AKDDSU.
