ITANAGAR, Sep 23: Reiterating its demand, District Border Students union Lower Dibang Valley unit (DBSU-LDV) has urged the Deputy Commissioner LDV to immediately initiate an eviction drive and demolish the illegal structures of those encroachers made under Arunachal’s jurisdiction.
DBSU-LDV in its press communiqué, informed that the union has already submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner earlier but no action has been taken yet. In view of the no response from the administration, the union held a meeting today and decided to opt for democratic movement and threatened to call 12-hour bandh on October 20 next in Lower Dibang Valley District.
DBSU-LDV also appealed all the public formers ZPMs, ASMs, Goan buras, Community wise students union, District students union, youth to unite and cooperate for a greater good.
