Wakro, Feb 16: The Apna Drinking Water Facility in the Shanta Parisar, BGR Enclave was inaugurated by IGP Isaac Pertin and Yeshi Pertin in a simple function. The ultra water treatment and filtration plant is sponsored by patron Ritesh Patel of Felix Industries, Ahmedabad which provides 2000 litres of drinking water per hour. 
The IGP and his spouse also offered financial assistance under the Jija Madhavan Hari Singh Prakalp to an elder which is supported by Ms Nikhar and Nimish Sharma. The dignitaries also offered the Ghanshyam Singh Katoch Prakalp assistance to an Apne. The assistance of Ghanshyam Singh Katoch Prakalp was provided by a distinguished leader from the Indian Armed Forces, Col Shona George. 
Sange Wangmu Mosobi, EAC Namsai gave away annual awards for the literary completions of the KGBV Wakro while the IGP gave away the annual cultural and Vineeta Sports Meet awards respectively.
Speaking on the occassion Tamo Riba, EAC, Wakro lauded the teachers and staff of the KGBV and Apna Vidya Bhavan Wakro for the sincere efforts made to improve education in rural Arunachal. Riba also joined the visiting dignitaries in distributing the annual awards. 
IGP Isaac Pertin called upon the children to work hard with determination and take up learning with great devotion so that they can make their parents and teachers proud of them and their achievements. He also appreciated the Anu Shiksha Seva Trust for the service offered to society and assured of his support.
