PASIGHAT, Nov 25: Dr. Talung Tali, MD (General Medicine) assumed office of the prestigious Government Bakin Pertin General Hospital (BPGH), Pasighat recently. Tali replaced Dr. Dukhum Raina who has been transferred and posted to TRIHMS, Naharlagun as Chief Medical Superintendent. 
East Siang Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kinny Singh congratulated the new chief of BPGH (T&R) Jt. DHS, Dr. Tali. The hospital is considered as the second largest hospital in the state and extending health services to the patients of East Siang, Siang, West Siang, Upper Siang, Lower Dibang Valley districts and neighboring Assam. Tali’s enriched experience is expected to be helpful to the hospital and patients, the DC expressed hope.
Dr. Tali completed his MBBS from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner, Rajasthan and thereafter completed his MD (General Medicine) from Rabindranath Tagore Medical College, Udaipur, Rajasthan. Tali is not new to the city. He joined BPGH as Junior Specialist (Medicine) on 6th January, 1996 and borne several responsibilities successfully at BPGH earlier too bringing several positive changes in all he worked and has recently been promoted as JDHS based on his successful stint in the department.
After taking over the charge of the hospital administration, the new JDHS Tali assured that attention will be given to quick and proper service to the patients. Upgrading the infrastructure and relevant modern equipment are also his priorities to deliver services to the poor and needy, informed Dr. Tali adding that doctors are our first and last line of defense. They walk the extra mile and take all the measures ensuring the safety of doctors and patients. He sought cooperation from the public to keep the hospital clean. DIPRO
